One of the biggest questions stemming from Boston Celtics President of Basketball Operations dealing Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers
for Paul George and draft assets at the start of July has been how George is going to fit on his new ball club. More specifically, how will PG-13 work stepping into the bulk of the minutes previously played by Brown, especially when he is sharing the court with Tatum?The Fresno State alum opened up about that potential dynamic in his introductory press conference that saw Stevens and Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla introduce George and fellow vet Mike Conley Jr. to the assembled media this past Tuesday (Sep. 15) afternoon.
"I think it's organically been us just working off one another, working with one another,"
explained George of his fit with the St. Louis native. "I think those relations and those conversations will happen as we get going full-fledged."
"I think for right now, it's just learning one another, what we like, what we dislike, how I can help you, how you can help me," added the Palmdale, California native.
"But those conversations will happen organically. It's not one thing to rush that. We'll get on the court and we'll iron that out."
