The Boston Celtics will play host to the Chicago Bulls at their own home arena of TD Garden to face the Central Division for the first of two meetings this week. The Celtics are going to be looking to keep their record in the win column after having done as much vs. the reigning NBA champion New York Knicks on Friday (Oct. 23) night, also at TD Garden.
The Bulls, for their part, will be looking to get back to winning games again after having lost their last tilt to the new-look Washington Wizards. We expect a Celtics win in this contest, but this is a better iteration of Chicago than Boston has faced in recent seasons, if not especially so.
Records, standing, and streaks
At present, the Celtics have a 1-1 record in the midst of the early-season Eastern Conference scrum.

The
Bulls are the owners of a 1-2 record heading into this contest, further down the crowded East standings.
Player injuries
For Boston, only Devin Carter (illness) is out.

For Chicago, Nic Claxton (hamstring) is out, and Noa Essengue (head contusion) and Patrick Williams (groin) are questionable.
