Jayson Tatum reacted to former Boston Celtics teammate Jaylen Brown making a 'no cap' comment on a social media post made by the St. Louis native when discussing Brown's trade to the Philadelphia 76ers in the most mature way possible. Instead of feeding the flames of a viral response from the Georgia native, Tatum pushed back in the very idea he ought to grace such a frame with added attention.
Instead, the Duke alum rightly noted how he (and by implication, Brown) is too old for such shenanigans as a pro player and an adult, while doing so in a way that gives his former Celtics costar on the wing an off-ramp to de-escalate the growing (and tired, to be very frank) notion that these two ought to be at odds despite all they have accomplished together
in Boston.
To hear Tatum's reply to that situation for yourself, the folks behind the "NBC Sports Boston" YouTube channel put together a clip of the Celtics star's reply for us to watch later. Check it out below!
