Did Boston Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens get another steal with the Payton Pritchard extension? The Celtics of course recently got the University of Oregon alum to ink a new contract extension worth a total of $44 million over two more seasons with Boston, arguably good value for what Pritchard has shown he can bring to the table on a consistent basis.
But to be fair to Fast PP, it will, as much of a value as the deal looks like it will be, double the earnings of the Oregon native in the NBA to date as well. Could this extension be a win-win for the Celtics and Pritchard alike?
Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about this new deal and how it shapes the future of the team and Pritchard
both.
