Are the Boston Celtics going to build a new arena under Celtics majority owner Bill Chisholm? Boston famously does not own the arena that the storied franchise plays in, TD Garden instead being owned by the Delaware North holding company that also owns the Boston Bruins of the NHL, limiting the amount of revenue most other ball clubs in the NBA can lean on to generate revenue in an increasingly restrictive financial ecosphere in the league.
One such solution, of course, to remedy that state of affairs would be for Chisholm and company to strike out on their own to build an arena dedicated to the Celtics. The private equity billionaire recently took some time to talk over whether he sees an arena in Boston's future in a recent interview during
a charity telethon.
Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what he had to say about whether Boston ought to move on from TD Garden anytime soon – and what the folks from "WEEI Boston Sports Original's" "Greg Hill Show" thought about his position on the matter.
