The Boston Celtics exorcised their early-season demons in their 107-103 home opener win over the reigning NBA champion New York Knicks on Friday (Oct. 23) night at TD Garden. Or at least that is the point of view of the folks behind the "NBC Sports Boston" YouTube channel put together a clip taking some time on a recent episode of their "Post Game Live" show to talk over.
The clip has hosts Eddie House and Brian Scalabrine join Tom Giles to talk through the significance of Boston's first win of the 2026-27 NBA regular season after Boston dropped their season opener in familiar fashion to the Detroit Pistons earlier in the week.
Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about what this victory means for the Celtics campaign
ahead.
