The Boston Celtics announced another official partner for the 2026-27 NBA regular season and beyond on Wednesday (Sep. 23) morning via a press release. Per the Celtics, Tandem Vet Care, a veterinary healthcare company based in Massachusetts, was announced to have a multiyear partnership with the Celtics. The company is developing a technology-enabled model that integrates virtual care, neighborhood mobile clinics, and comprehensive care at its location in Somerville.
"Veterinary care is becoming increasingly costly and complex for families to navigate, while clinicians continue to face a significant administrative burden," said Tandem Vet Care co-founder and CEO Prem Sharma. "Tandem was built from the ground up to address those challenges through
a more connected model. By reducing fragmentation and unnecessary administrative work, we can create a better experience for families and give clinicians more time to focus on their patients."

In the season ahead, Tandem Vet Care will serve as the presenting partner for an animal-themed halftime event at two Celtics home games. Tandem will also organize a free community pet wellness celebration on Saturday, Sep. 26, at Tandem Veterinary Clinic (116 Beacon St, Somerville, MA 02143), from 12:30-3:30 PM. It will feature appearances by Celtics legend Brian Scalabrine, “Lucky” the Leprechaun, and a Championship trophy.
