The Boston Celtics training camp squad just beat the Philadelphia 76ers with Jaylen Brown, LeBron James, Joel Embiid, and Tyrese Maxey on the court. And while it is only fair to point out that it was an exhibition tilt where vets like those are not exactly going to be pushing as hard as a group of guys that are fighting to earn a spot on an NBA roster none of those players ever had to go through, that is still an outcome that is worth talking about.
And that was exactly the point of view of the hosts of the "How Bout Them Celtics!" podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, who took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk it over. What, if anything, did we learn from such an unusual outcome, even if it was (especially if it was) preseason?
Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about the last of Boston's preseason games this season.
