The Boston Celtics announced a new partnership with Blitzy, an autonomous software development platform based in Cambridge, according to a press release circulated by the team. The official partner of the Celtics, Blitzy will serve as the presenting partner for the annual Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation (BCSF) Tip-Off Gala this season, and will host various hospitality experiences over the course of the 2026-27 NBA regular season, and present a new digital content series focused on "building and playing in Boston".
This partnership puts together one of the most esteemed franchises in all of sport with a rapidly growing platform in AI-driven software development, effectively connecting Blitzy with Boston's enterprise, technology, and startup
communities during the Celtics' seasons.
"Blitzy’s commitment to innovation and the Greater Boston community makes them a natural fit for the Celtics and a strong addition to our family of partners," said Boston Celtics Chief Partnership Officer Ted Dalton. "Their support of the Tip-Off Gala will help us continue to build on the event’s impact and advance the Shamrock Foundation’s work across New England."

"A championship mindset is core to who we are at Blitzy," offered Brian Elliott, Blitzy CEO and cofounder. "We compete against massive incumbents every day, and we bring an unrelenting work ethic to our craft."
"We're building a generational company here in Boston, and partnering with a generational franchise like the Celtics is the perfect way to tell that story. Boston matters to our entire team, and we're excited to bring this story to life, on the court and off."
