The Boston Celtics have spent the past week rounding out their training camp roster. Brad Stevens currently has one open roster spot and one open two-way spot available, which means those on an Exhibit 10 contract certainly have something to work for once training camp begins.
Among the recent Exhibit 10 additions is former lottery pick Devin Carter, who spent the past two seasons with the Sacramento Kings before being traded and subsequently waived by the Atlanta Hawks earlier this summer. Carter, a defensive-minded guard who thrives on hustle and slotting into a connector role, has experience within the New England area, having suited up for Providence during his time in the collegiate ranks.
Nevertheless, Carter will need to earn a longer-term
stay with the Celtics, as he battles other hopefuls, including Summer League standout Milos Uzan and his fellow Sin City Celtic teammate Tucker DeVries.
