The NFL has another former Vikings defender making a return to a team in the NFC.
Veteran linebacker Eric Kendricks signed to the Los Angeles Rams' practice squad on Tuesday, Oct. 6. The news of the signing was announced on NFL.com and in the News and Roundup section on their site.
Kendricks last played for the San Francisco 49ers, but his most influential playing time was spent with the Vikings. In eight seasons with Minnesota, he played in 117 games, gathered up 919 total tackles, 15 sacks, and nine interceptions. He played well enough in 2019 with the team to earn All-Pro honors, as he was one of the best linebackers in the NFL at the time.
For the Rams, they are hoping he can provide some veteran leadership in the middle of their defense as
they try to bounce back from a 2-2 start.
