The Vikings benefited greatly from the connection between quarterback Kyler Murray and tight end T.J. Hockenson in Week 4 against the Dolphins. In Week 5, the hope was that it would continue, but that was quickly derailed.
On the Vikings' opening drive, Hockenson went down after suffering what appeared to be a head injury. He went to the medical tent and was quickly taken to the locker room. Shortly thereafter, Hockenson was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
In his place, the Vikings are utilizing Gavin Bartholomew and Benjamin Yurosek. The Vikings are already down Josh Oliver, who is on injured reserve; they will be hoping Hockenson will bounce back quickly since the team is on a Bye in Week 6.
