College football has crossed the midpoint of its season as we head into the thick of October. Whether you are a fan of it or not, the Vikings and their front office are going to be paying very close attention to a lot of players in the upcoming class. The 2027 NFL Draft is working up to be one of the better classes in recent memory.
One way to stay as caught up as the Vikings will be is to follow our prospect previews starting now. We'll focus heavily on prospects that fit the team's projected needs in the 2027 NFL Draft. We are going to be focusing on five positions over the course of the year; they are:
- Quarterbacks
- Running Backs
- Tight Ends
- Edge Rusher
- Safety
Not all of these positions are going to be getting a high draft pick involved, like cornerback. For those, we will be highlighting some day
two and three prospects more so, but it helps round out the draft knowledge for readers.
Here are the prospects we are keeping an eye on during Week 7 of the College Football Season.
