It hasn't always been pretty, but the Minnesota Vikings remain undefeated in 2026, picking up a 15-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins. The defense carried this team once again, limiting the Dolphins all afternoon, including forcing a turnover and two sacks. Here are three instant takeaways from another ugly victory.
Minnesota desperately needs a quarterback
It has only been a handful of games so far in a Vikings uniform, but it feels like this experiment might not be working as some believed it could. In the year, Kyler Murray is 18/34 (52.1%) for just 186 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. It would be different if he were going against elite defenses, but he hasn't. The broadcast was optimistic that things are getting better, but are they?
Jordan Mason is sorely missed
Coming into the year, rookie Demond
Claiborne had a fair amount of hype around him based on the speed and agility he could bring to this offense. However, it has been tough sledding for the former Demon Deacon. Vision issues and a lack of breaking tackles have slowed down his potential. Aaron Jones has played well as the lone running back, but you can see things are breaking down as the game goes on.
Dallas Turner is a superstar
The breakout is real: Dallas Turner has arrived. Turner was under immense pressure coming into the year and has shown up and showed out in spades, as he sits at 3.5 sacks through four games, but remains near the top of the league in pressures. Turner has been relentless this season, and the pressure appears to be forming quite the diamond for the Vikings.
