The Minnesota Vikings are back from their Bye Week and ready to take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7.
Both teams are dealing with a handful of injuries that could swing the matchup in one team's favor or the other. In this piece, we are discussing the status of Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner. The All-Pro cornerback has been dealing with a calf strain, and his status for Week 7 and beyond has been in question.
Is Sauce Gardner playing in Week 7?
Gardner has been ruled out for Week 7 and could miss even longer. The team is likely to take things slowly with their top cornerback and defender in a season that is quickly slipping away from them. Since being acquired last season from the New York Jets, the Colts have not had the return they had hoped for.
That may be part of the reason
that their general manager, Chris Ballard, was fired this week.
