The Vikings' defense showed up again with a bend-but-don't-break attitude in Week 4. They faced a tough Dolphins offense that didn't look that way on paper, but they showed up against the Vikings, who were ready to meet the challenge head-on.
Through it all, a win is a win, and the Vikings improve to 4-0 and now turn their attention to the New Orleans Saints in Week 5. The team is going to face a tough matchup, as the Saints' offense has proven to be explosive at times, as well as the defense. The Vikings' offense will need to show up in a way they have not done so yet in 2026. Kyler Murray is going to sink this matchup for Minnesota, or it will allow it to swim effectively.
Now, for the matchup against the New Orleans Saints, the team will be
without the following players in Week 5:
- WR Jordan Addison
- S Jakobe Thomas
- WR Odell Beckham Jr.
- QB Max Brosmer
- CB Chuck Demmings
- OT Christian Darrisaw
- DL Elijah Williams
