No one played better for the Minnesota Vikings in their 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts than Blake Cashman. He became the first player since at least 1982 to register 12 tackles, two sacks, and four passes defensed in the same game, per Vikings social media.
That earned Cashman NFC Defensive Player of the Week, the fifth time in six games that a player has won a weekly award. Byron Murphy Jr. earned Defensive Player of the Week in the team's Week 5 win over the New Orleans Saints, while Isaiah Rodgers Jr. (Week 2), Myles Price (Week 3), and Will Reichard (Week 4) each won Special Teams Player of the Week.

Cashman
may be the Vikings' best player through seven weeks. He has racked up 4.5 sacks despite only rushing the passer 73 times. Every other defender in the league with at least four sacks has rushed the passer at least 103 times. He also narrowly missed picking off Colts QB Daniel Jones twice in the first quarter on Sunday.
His 31.5% QB pressure rate is the league-high among players with at least 24 pass-rush snaps. If Cashman keeps playing like he did Sunday, the Vikings have a chance to continue their defensive dominance.
