Kyle Van Noy didn't play many snaps in the Minnesota Vikings' win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (17 snaps), but his impact was unquestionable. Van Noy registered 1.5 sacks and three stops and earned an 84.6 PFF grade, the third-highest among all Vikings defenders.
On Tuesday, Brian Flores asked whether Van Noy, who joined Minnesota's practice squad on September 2, could be in line to play more moving forward.
"He played his best game the other day," Flores said of Van Noy. "He's impactful in both the run and the pass game, so expect to see more of him, for sure.
"I think he's just getting more comfortable day by day. But great vibe, great energy, great teammate, unselfish- all those things that we're looking for. And organically, when those things all come
together, good plays happen....He benefited from that the other day."
Van Noy was signed to the active roster on Tuesday after being elevated for the first three games of the season. Dallas Turner and Andrew Van Ginkel will continue to dominate headlines, but Van Noy has proven to be a valuable contributor off the bench.
