September was a good month for the Minnesota Vikings special teams unit. Isaiah Rodgers won NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after blocking a field goal in Week 2. Myles Price followed that up by winning the award in Week 3 after returning a punt 86 yards for a touchdown against the Buccaneers.

On Thursday, the NFL announced that Price won NFC Special Teams Player of the Month in September. Price led the league in kick returns (12), kick return yards (353), punt return yards (130), and punt return average (21.7). He is the only player in the league with a special teams touchdown.
In Week 1, Price helped spark the Vikings' comeback
against the Packers with a 68-yard kick return in the third quarter. He has proven to be a weapon each time he touches the ball, and his return touchdown against the Buccaneers proved to be the difference in Minnesota's 23-16 victory.
