The Minnesota Vikings seem to have their hands on every franchise in the NFL in some form or another. Perhaps it is through former players or coaches being with new teams, while others are former coaches who rose up the ranks and now find themselves as head coaches.
In this instance, though, we are looking at a fan favorite in Kirk Cousins. He now finds himself on his second team since leaving the Vikings, as he is now a part of the Las Vegas Raiders, working with former Vikings coordinator Klint Kubiak, who is their head coach.
On Wednesday, Cousins was named the starter for the Raiders. It will be the third franchise he has started for in the last four seasons.
The Raiders drafted quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the first overall pick in April's
NFL Draft. The young quarterback is now expected to sit behind the veteran while he develops. It is a role that Cousins has been familiar with since his previous stop before Las Vegas, where he was with the Falcons when they drafted Michael Penix Jr.
