The Los Angeles Rams lost a heartbreaker on Monday night, falling 37-34 to the Buffalo Bills in overtime. Emotions were high, and left tackle Alaric Jackson made it worse by punching Buffalo linebacker Bradley Chubb following the game.
On Tuesday, the NFL announced Jackson would be suspended for two games for the altercation, but it was reduced to one game after he appealed the decision.
David Quessenberry, a sixth-round pick by the Houston Texans in 2013, will start in place of Jackson this week against the Arizona Cardinals. Quessenberry has played in 102 games in his career, starting 30.
This is Quessenberry's second season with the Rams. Before going to LA, he spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, playing in 30 games as a reserve.
