The Minnesota Vikings are coming off an impressive win over the Dolphins in which their defense and special teams led the way. Kicker Will Reichard led the show, scoring all 15 points the Vikings scored, while the defense held the Dolphins to just 10 of their own.
Despite the win, the team still has some roster moves to make it seems ahead of Week 5 against the New Orleans Saints. NFL.com's News and Roundup section shared on Tuesday, Oct. 6, that the team was cutting five players, including one starter, from Week 4.
They cut the following players:
- RB Devin Neal
- CB Natrone Brooks
- CB Tyreek Chappell waived with injury designation
- P Johnny Hekker
Hekker was the starting punter while Brett Thorson was injured. The move with Hekker could signal that the rookie is nearing a return, but the veteran also played poorly, so the team could be weighing
their options.
