In the NFL, breaking records or completing a feat that hasn't been done in a very long time is usually things worth celebrating. These normally mean that the franchise did something remarkable that may not be believable. The Minnesota Vikings did something yesterday that they haven't done since 2007, but it is certainly not something worth celebrating.
According to Kevin Seifert via ESPN research, the Vikings won without taking a single snap in the red zone. The franchise last pulled this off in 2007, defeating the Chicago Bears in the process.
The Vikings had ZERO snaps in the red zone today. The last time they did that and won a game was in a 2007 against the Bears.

By all accounts, this is not a statistic worth celebrating. This offense ranks
dead last in the NFL in yards per game, and with Justin Jefferson now banged up with an ankle injury he suffered yesterday, the concern is that the defense will have to win games, as it did last year. Minnesota may be 3-0, but things could unravel quickly if they don't figure it out.
