The Vikings' offense took a hit on Wednesday, Sept. 16, when the team announced that Jordan Mason would be placed on injured reserve.
The team made it official on social media Wednesday afternoon, with the move related to the Vikings running back undergoing thumb surgery. Mason will now miss a minimum of four weeks before he is eligible.
In a corresponding set of moves, the Vikings signed DeeJay Dallas and added Jerome Ford to their practice squad.

In the meantime, Aaron Jones Sr. is going to see a lot more work. In Week
1, he made some crucial plays, but Dallas also had some touches and plays. The running back split is going to be interesting in the coming weeks, but look for Jones to see a lot more work as we mentioned.
