What is the story about?

As we are now in the month of October, teams are starting to emerge as who they will be for the season. The Vikings are a team that continues to surprise people through five weeks, but a lot is still left to unfold.

As we always do with the season going on and on, we took a look at power rankings heading into Week 6. The latest rankings are from ESPN and their group of beat writers. They ranked the Vikings 6th in their rankings following their rise to 5-0 after a road win against a tough New Orleans Saints team.

The rest of the NFC North shaped up as follows:

Detroit Lions 11th
Chicago Bears 13th
Green Bay Packers 14th

The Vikings will enjoy a Bye Week before returning in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts. With a win, and improving to 6-0, they could perhaps crack into the top five or three in power

rankings.
