The Minnesota Vikings are now sitting at 6-1 and are atop the NFC North despite losing in Week 8 to the Detroit Lions. That loss exposed the team, though, as they showed that despite how good their defense is, they cannot do everything for this team.
Luckily for them, the trade deadline appears to be active, which could give the Vikings a chance to acquire some season-changing talent.
Ahead of what could be a stacked trade deadline on November 10, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler shared some info as to what he is hearing regarding players. One of the players is Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard.
He shared, "Several teams could use a running back, and Pollard is an attractive fallback plan if the Colts stand pat on Taylor. But as one AFC exec pointed
out, 'I don't think [the Titans] want to take weapons away from the quarterback right now.'"
If the team did decide they wanted to make a move given the state of the franchise, the Vikings are listed as a fit. They need a shot in the arm on offense and Pollard showed against the Cleveland Browns' defense that he can provide when he scored three touchdowns.
