The Minnesota Vikings offense put in another ugly performance, but kicker Will Reichard saved them in the end. Minnesota defeated the Miami Dolphins 15-10, marking their fourth straight win to start the year. Here are Week 4's winners and losers.
Winner: Dallas Turner
Is it too early to put Dallas Turner in top-five pass rusher conversations? Through four weeks, Turner has 5.5 sacks on the year and remains near the top of the NFL in quarterback pressures. He was all over the place today, totaling two sacks and a forced fumble. He is on pace for a historic season in just his third year in the NFL and is emerging as one of the best pass rushers in the NFL.
Loser: Team tackling
Practice is going to be ugly this week, as the number of blown tackles against Miami compounded severely as the game
went on. Both massive Ollie Gordon II runs were sprung by a lack of wrapping him up, allowing him to break through for major gains, including a touchdown.
Winner: T.J. Hockenson
It was a vintage performance by tight end T.J. Hockenson, as he exploded for 13 receptions for 119 yards today. He was the ultimate safety blanket for Kyler Murray, and with Justin Jefferson out with his ankle injury, someone needed to step up. Hockenson had one of his best games in years and will look to keep the momentum next week.
Loser: The perception of this team
Was it an ugly performance by the Vikings today on offense? Yes. Were the boos during the second half justified? Yes. How about the boos while in victory formation? Absolutely not. It's hard to let the boo birds ring out during a victory, especially the team's fourth in a row, but they came down in full force to end the game. Not the greatest look from the fans in the stadium this weekend.
