The Minnesota Vikings all offseason discussed their quarterback position over and over again. Just like we did. Sadly, the position was not settled, as Week 1 had one more wrinkle.
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray went down with a concussion after a tough hit in the first quarter. Murray was sliding and was sandwiched between two defenders in a hit that got social media going. Murray stiffened up after the hit, signaling a concussion.
The team quickly confirmed a concussion and ruled him out for the remainder of the game.
Fast forward to prep for Week 2 against the Chicago Bears, Murray was in the practice report on Wednesday and was listed as limited. He was seen with a helmet and pads on, and a classic no-contact jersey, which makes
it seem promising that he could play in Week 2.
QB Kyler Murray (concussion) will be limited during today's practice as he progresses through the protocol.

Now, could they be slow in bringing him back after seeing how Carson Wentz played in his place? Perhaps. The team remains committed to Murray as the starter, and concussions are serious, so how he progresses through Thursday and into Friday will be important to watch.
