Over the past four weeks, the Minnesota Vikings have had one of the better offensive lines in the NFL. The left side of the line has been especially strong, with Christian Darrisaw and Donovan Jackson holding down the fort.
We learned today that this talented duo played their final snap together this season.
NFL insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that Jackson suffered a torn meniscus during Minnesota's 15-10 win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, which will sideline him for the remainder of the season. This is a brutal blow to this offensive line that has graded out very well through four weeks.
#Vikings standout G Donovan Jackson has a torn meniscus that will require surgery and he is out for the regular season, coach Kevin O'Connell announced.

Jackson, a second-year guard out of Ohio State, started as a rookie and got better every week last season. He played well to start the year and showed signs of taking that next step for this offense this year. With Darrisaw banged up on Sunday as well, the left side of the line has suddenly gone from arguably their top strength on offense to one of the weak points.
