Special teams have become such an important component of football that it is vital that you have a quality kicker on your roster. In today's NFL, if your kicker can't hit from nearly 60 yards consistently, you might need to look for a new one. Luckily, for the Minnesota Vikings, they have one of the best kickers in the NFL, Will Reichard, and he earned NFC honors for his performance last week.
Reichard was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week last week for going 5-for-5 on field goals in Minnesota's 15-10 win over the Miami Dolphins. On the season, Reichard is 12-for-12 on field goals, 6-for-6 on extra points, and has a long this season of 56 yards.

Minnesota can breathe easy knowing that they have such an automatic kicker on the roster like Reichard. For his career, Reichard is 69-for-77 (89.6%) on field goals and a perfect 75-for-75 on extra points with a career-high of 62 yards. Since entering the league in 2024, Reichard has become one of the best and most consistent kickers in the NFL, and will likely earn himself a major extension when his time comes.
