The Oklahoma Sooners and Porter Moser added another big-time talent to the roster this week after bringing on B.J. Edwards from SMU. This time, the Sooners went to the Big East and snagged a commitment from Villanova transfer big man Duke Brennan.
At Oklahoma, Brennan will be at his fourth school, having started his career at Arizona State. The Chandler, Arizona native then transferred to Grand Canyon University, where he spent two seasons, before landing with the Villanova Wildcats for the 2025-2026 season.
Last year, Brennan earned All-Big East third-team honors after posting career highs in points, rebounds, and assists. He averaged a double-double with 12.4 points and 10.3 rebounds while putting up two assists per game. The 6-foot-10 forward
is a career 62.2% shooter with a career-high 65.8% field goal percentage in 2025-2026.
Brennan will be a weapon in the Sooners' big-man rotation and could be a starter for Moser's front court this season. He brings an interior scoring presence to the lineup and is a good rebounder. This is just another strong veteran addition for Oklahoma for the 2026-2027 season.
