Updated game-by-game Oklahoma Sooners predictions from ESPN

The Oklahoma Sooners are 2-1 on the season. Not where many thought they'd be three games in. Sure, they earned a win over New Mexico

, but it wasn't the performance we were looking for from the offense. The offense isn't where many thought they'd be either. And yet, because of the defense, everything is still right there in front of them. But the Sooners have to find some answers and find them quickly.

Oklahoma begins the SEC slate this week when they make the trip to Athens to take on the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs. Since 2017, Kirby Smart's second year at the helm, the Bulldogs have lost just twice at home.

Oklahoma's College Football Playoff hopes hinge on the offense finding some answers. After the loss to Michigan, they don't have a lot of room

for error.

Still Some Hope

Things look pretty dire right now for the Oklahoma Sooners after the offense struggled for the second straight week. However, the offense can't get much worse at this point. Can they find a spark as they prepare for the Georgia Bulldogs? They'll need to if they want to have a shot on the road in Athens.
