The Oklahoma Sooners have a chance to make their season a special one after earning a 27-24 win over the No. 1 Texas Longhorns on Saturday. There's a lot of work to do, and if the Sooners want to make the College Football Playoff, they have to win out. But if Oklahoma can play like they did on offense in the second half of Saturday's win, they'll have a shot at something special.
The Sooners earned a huge bump in the latest 1-138 rankings from USA TODAY Sports college football writer Paul Myerburg. Oklahoma moved up 15 spots to No. 29 in the nation.
OU's next opponent, the Kentucky Wildcats, was the only SEC team that saw a bigger jump than the Sooners.
