The Carolina Panthers made an addition to their roster following the first outing of training camp on Thursday.
As announced this afternoon, the team has signed tight end Caden Prieskorn. The 26-year-old was on hand for a workout earlier in the day.
Prieskorn, a Lake Orion, Mich. native, split his collegiate career between the University of Memphis (2019 to 2022) and the University of Mississippi (2023 to 2024). Over 52 total games, he amassed 112 receptions for 1,531 yards and 14 touchdowns, and was named a first-team All-AAC selection in 2022 and a second-team All-SEC selection in 2023.
The 6-foot-5, 255-pounder would then break into the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions in the spring of 2025. He went on to pick up stints
throughout the 2025 campaign with the Denver Broncos, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns.
