The good news coming out of Week 7 for Carolina Panthers right guard Robert Hunt, who entered Week 7 tied for the NFL lead in penalties, is that he did not get flagged on Sunday. The bad news, however, is quite a bit worse.
With the Panthers down 10-0 early in the second quarter against the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers, quarterback Bryce Young was mauled by outside linebacker Al-Quadin Muhammad for a strip-sack. The loose ball would be picked up and brought back for a touchdown by defensive lineman Calijah Kancey, putting Carolina further in a hole that they'd never get close to climbing out of.
So, can you take a guess as to who Muhammad beat to get to Young . . . ?
Rob Hunt: “It sucks. We got embarrassed.” Says he “flat out got beat” on the
strip-sack” by Muhammad.

While the Carolina defense will get much of the focus from their embarrassing 43-13 loss, the offense wasn't much better. Young ended up committing three turnovers on the day, adding a pair of interceptions to go with the fumble, and was sacked five times.
To add injury to insult, the trench lost right tackle Taylor Moton—who was carted off from the defeat. Head coach Dave Canales would confirm that Moton sustained a fractured fibula and will miss time.
The unit started the week as the league's No. 2 overall offense and No. 4 scoring offense. But they only came away with 266 total yards, 13 points and, perhaps, a few questions along their offensive line.
