The Week 3 status of Carolina Panthers wideout Jalen Coker might've taken an interesting turn.
After he was listed as a limited participant yesterday, Coker was among the five players who did not participate in this afternoon's session. The third-year receiver is currently dealing with an ankle sprain.
Coker sustained the injury in the regular-season opener against the Chicago Bears, where he posted a career-high 138 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He did, however, suit up for this past Sunday's win over the Atlanta Falcons—amassing 66 yards on eight grabs and returning a pair of punts for a total of 49 yards.
Fellow wide receiver Xavier Legette, who reeled in a 55-yard catch in the Week 2 victory, was also a non-participant due to a knee injury.
