The Carolina Panthers may have to finish out the rest of the 2026 season without one of their top defenders.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, cornerback Jaycee Horn sustained a torn quad in Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Cleveland Browns. The setback, per Rapoport, will be out indefinitely and could miss the remainder of the campaign.
Horn was injured late in the fourth quarter of the defeat, on the game-winning touchdown connection between Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson and tight end Harold Fannin Jr.
Rapoport adds that Horn is expected to be placed on injured reserve and is seeking a second opinion on the injury.
Carolina also lost their other starting cornerback in Mike Jackson, who left the game in the first quarter due to a groin
issue.
Head coach Dave Canales may provide further details on Horn's status at his press conference later today.
