Today is one of the busiest days on the NFL calendar. After Sunday evening's trim-down of rosters from 90 players to 53, over 1,000 players have become available via waivers or free agency.
And now, all 32 teams are scrambling to add some new talent where they need it most to fill out their rosters and practice squads ahead of the regular season.
For the Carolina Panthers, we already have four names reportedly joining the practice squad. The first of which was, of course, veteran wide receiver David Moore—a favorite of head coach Dave Canales going back to their time together in Seattle and Tampa Bay. Moore is entering his ninth season in the league.
The Panthers are also signing three rookies to their practice squad. According to Joe Person at
The Athletic, offensive lineman Isaiah Glass is among them. So is defensive tackle Parker Peterson.

Additionally, Mike Kaye at ESPN is reporting that rookie cornerback DeVonta Smith is re-joining the team as part of the practice squad.

Smith may have earned his spot with a standout performance on Friday night against the Houston Texans. The 23-year-old recorded three tackles and two passes defensed in the 16-13 victory.
