Panthers release initial depth chart for Week 2 matchup vs. Falcons

The Carolina Panthers, at least to this point, have made one adjustment to their active roster following this past weekend's regular-season opener.

As announced on Tuesday, the team waived wide receiver and 2025 sixth-round draft pick Jimmy Horn Jr. The 24-year-old, who served as the primary returner in Sunday's 59-37 loss to the Chicago Bears, muffed a punt in his first attempt of the game.

Horn's departure has opened up a spot for inside linebacker Tyrel Dodson, now a member of the active roster. The seventh-year veteran was added to Carolina's practice squad two weeks ago.
