A former Carolina Panthers receiver has, once again, become a casualty of this summer's roster cutdown.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, wideout Terrace Marshall Jr. is being released by the Miami Dolphins. The 26-year-old was a second-round pick of the Panthers from the 2021 NFL Draft.

Marshall, a Louisiana State University standout , was taken with that year's 59th overall selection. He'd last just three seasons in Carolina—amassing 64 receptions for 767 yards and one touchdown while starting in 16 of his 36 games.

The Panthers parted ways with Marshall in the summer of 2024, in the trimming to their initial 53-man roster for the campaign. He'd go on to pick up stints with the San Francisco 49ers, Las Vegas Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles before

joining the Dolphins on a reserve/future deal this past February.

Since being waived by Carolina, Marshall has appeared in just seven regular-season games—all of which came with Las Vegas in 2024.
