The Carolina Panthers made a few adjustments to their practice squad on Tuesday.
As announced this afternoon, the Panthers have signed offensive lineman Isaia Glass and outside linebacker Cam Gill to their practice squad. Both spent time with the organization this past offseason.
Glass first joined Carolina as an undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt University. He appeared in all four of the team's preseason games during the summer, primarily as a left guard, before being waived as part of the cutdown to the initial 53-man roster.
Gill is now in his third stint with the Panthers this season. The 28-year-old, who played in 10 games for Carolina in 2024, was named the United Football League's Defensive Player of the Year this past spring.
To make
room on the practice squad for their additions, the Panthers released guard Chandler Zavala—a former fourth-round pick. With Zavala gone, quarterback Bryce Young is now the only remaining member of the franchise's 2023 draft class.
