The Carolina Panthers may be able to find some secondary help on the trade market.
Jordan Dajani of CBS Sports recently listed 10 players who could be on the move as the Nov. 10 trade deadline approaches. He includes Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Kelee Ringo, whose size and pedigree just might pique the interest of the Panthers' front office:
Kelee Ringo needs a change of scenery and is in the final year of his rookie deal. The former fourth-round pick out of Georgia has the physical makeup you want at 6-foot-2, 207 pounds. He's started in just eight of 55 career games played with the Eagles, and he has played only on special teams this season. However, there are multiple teams out there that need cornerbacks right now to come in and contribute
immediately.
Carolina, following the injuries to starters Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson, is one of those multiple teams out there. Both were placed on injured reserve after the team's Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns and aren't expected back until later in the campaign.
In their first game without them, the Week 4 win over the Detroit Lions, the Panthers rolled out 2026 fourth-round pick Will Lee III and special teams ace Akayleb Evans. While Lee held his own, Evans struggled—allowing 11 receptions for 197 yards and a touchdown.
Ringo would have to work his way into the swing of things, however—as all of 89 snaps this year have come on special teams.
