The Carolina Panthers listed five players as non-participants for Monday's walk-through.
Included in the group was starting left guard Damien Lewis, who was noted with a knee injury. Lewis missed the team's Week 4 win over the Detroit Lions due to an elbow issue.
Wide receiver Jalen Coker landed back on the report as well—this time, with a shoulder injury. Coker, who was estimated as a limited participant, was also sidelined against Detroit.
Joining Lewis as a non-participant was outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips. Phillips (hamstring) did not play in yesterday's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and, according to head coach Dave Canales, could be a "close" call for Thursday night's matchup with the Green Bay Packers.
Canales also noted that players
on the injury report are considered day-to-day.
Here's the full rundown:
- OLB Jaelan Phillips (hamstring) | Monday: DNP
- G Torricelli Simpkins III (ankle) | Monday: DNP
- CB Akayleb Evans (triceps/knee) | Monday: DNP
- G Damien Lewis (knee) | Monday: DNP
- DT Bobby Brown III (hand) | Monday: DNP
- WR Jalen Coker (shoulder) | Monday: Limited
- QB Bryce Young (knee) | Monday: Full
