For the second straight day, the Carolina Panthers were a handful of players at practice.
Tuesday's session, like Monday's walk-through, did not include starting left guard Damien Lewis and outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips. Lewis popped up with a new knee injury while Phillips, who missed the Week 7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, continues to nurse his lingering hamstring issue.
The Panthers were also without guard Torricelli Simpkins III (ankle) and cornerback Akayleb Evans (triceps/knee), who has started the past three games.
Head coach Dave Canales told reporters that the injured players remain "day-to-day" and that none have been ruled out, at least as of yet, for Thursday's matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
