The Carolina Panthers are about to kick off their second prime-time game of the 2026 season. This time around, they're on the road facing the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football, and in a rematch of last year's stunning upset win for the visitors at Lambeau Field.
However, the Panthers are pretty banged up going into tonight's game.
Their offensive line is missing left guard Damien Lewis, who's been their best (and only good) starter this season. The cornerback situation is also even worse, as Akayleb Evans has been placed on injured reserve. Marco Wilson has been elevated off the practice squad and is expected start in his place.
Carolina is also without top edge rusher Jaelan Phillips, who's still dealing with a hamstring injury for
the second straight week.
Here are the inactives lists for both teams heading into tonight's game . . .
Panthers Week 8 inactives
- QB Haynes King (emergency QB)
- RB AJ Dillon
- TE Ja'Tavion Sanders
- LG Damien Lewis
