Seven players, including a handful of offensive starters, were estimated as non-participants at Wednesday's walk-through for the Carolina Panthers.
As noted in this afternoon's injury report, running back Chuba Hubbard (rest), wide receivers Jalen Coker (quad) and Xavier Legette (knee), tight end Darren Waller (rest/toe) left guard Damien Lewis (elbow) and right tackle Monroe Freeling (concussion) were not part of the session.
Lewis seems most likely of the bunch to miss this Sunday night's contest against the Detroit Lions, as he deals with the UCL injury he sustained in the loss to the Cleveland Browns. Freeling, per head coach Dave Canales, is trending in the right direction to rejoin the team at practice on Thursday.
Coker, like Lewis, sustained
his setback in Week 3. After battling an ankle tweak going in, the third-year pass catcher exited with another soft-tissue injury.
On the brighter side, quarterback Bryce Young was down as a full participant through a knee injury.
