Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper clearly wants to mold his team in the model of the Seattle Seahawks. Both general manager Dan Morgan and head coach Dave Canales spent a lot of time with the organization, and they've brought in several other ex-Seahawks as well—both in the front office and on the field.
So, perhaps Tepper would love to hear what former quarterback and Seattle great Russell Wilson has to say about the current product.
The now-retired 10-time Pro Bowler has stated that he is a believer in both Canales' staff and starting quarterback Bryce Young. Here's what Wilson recently had to say about Carolina's offense thus far . . .

It's not hard to see why Wilson likes Young's game, which is very similar to his own during his prime. Young's lack of size remains an obstacle, but his aggressiveness and swagger when he gets going is awfully reminiscent of Mr. Unlimited's heyday.
He has now passed for 648 yards, the second-most in the league, and six touchdowns—and is undoubtedly off to the hottest start of his four-year career.
Wilson is also quite familiar with Canales, as the two shared the Seattle sidelines for a decade. In fact, Wilson's most productive campaign came in 2020—when Canales was the Seahawks' passing game coordinator.
As a team, the Panthers are tied for fourth in total offense (409.0 yards per game) and second in scoring (35.5 points per game).
