A former Carolina Panthers offensive lineman has found himself a new home.
As announced on Tuesday afternoon, guard Chandler Zavala has signed to the Tennessee Titans' practice squad. The 27-year-old spent his first three seasons, and this past offseason, with Carolina.
The Panthers selected Zavala, a first-team All-ACC member out of North Carolina State University, in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He would go on to appear in 34 games, mostly at left guard, with 14 starts through the 2025 campaign.
Zavala was waived by Carolina in late August to make room for the addition of center Corey Bullock. He'd be brought back as a member of their initial 2026 practice squad a day later, but was let go again last week.
His departure left quarterback
Bryce Young as the only remaining member of the team's 2023 draft class.
