The Carolina Panthers are keeping to last week's call-ups for this week's matchup with the Atlanta Falcons.
As they did ahead of their regular-season opener against the Chicago Bears, the team is elevating outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon and safety Isaiah Simmons from the practice squad for tomorrow's NFC South bout at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Like in Week 1, Moon could provide depth in the possible absence of starting outside linebacker Pat Jones II—who has been listed as questionable with a back injury. Moon recorded three tackles over 15 snaps on defense and nine on special teams in the 59-37 loss to Chicago.
Simmons also appeared in the defeat, with all 31 of his snaps coming on special teams.
Moon and Simmons can both be elevated from the practice
squad one more time this season before they would have to be signed to the 53-man roster.
