Carolina Panthers wideout Jalen Coker has put in another encouraging day of work.
The third-year receiver was listed as a limited participant for Thursday's practice, where he ramped up his work as he progresses through an ankle injury. Coker was dealt the seemingly minor setback in the team's season-opening loss
to the Chicago Bears on Sunday, where he amassed a career-high 138 receiving yards and two touchdowns on eight catches.Coker was wearing a walking boot on his left foot when speaking with reporters from his locker on Monday. But he and head coach Dave Canales have expressed little, if any doubt about his status for this weekend's matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
Meanwhile, starting defensive lineman Bobby Brown III, who's dealing
with a bulging disc in his back, remained a non-participant.
